THE STORY

Set across one day in Los Angeles, Summertime follows a group of young Angelenos as their stories collide through poetry, performance, friendship, love, identity, and self-expression. The film moves through the city like a spoken word mixtape, capturing intimate personal moments while celebrating the larger cultural energy of Los Angeles.

Developed with young poets and performers, the project transforms lived experiences into cinematic vignettes that feel raw, funny, emotional, and deeply human. Its strength comes from the authenticity of its voices and the way each story becomes part of a larger portrait of youth, community, and creative expression.
